Is this intentional? If so how should I configure X410 now?

Yes it is.

Choose the first option to disable wslg. Then the option for configuring XServer will appear. Looks like it is not as usable as I thought.

Thanks, I got it working. Yes, it is not clear that WSLg is related to X410 from the GUI menu.
