[Idea] Redesign of statistics, UI/UX solutions #5937
Comments
The graphical approach to presenting the statistics appeals to me, as I've already implemented something similar for my use cases. However, it should be noted that, even if you're not a fan of exact values, there're other people who value them. Therefore, there should be two display options: one showing a simplified version and one showing a more detailed version. I'd like to exclude the number of invisible users here, as they're only visible to users with the appropriate rights and don't appear elsewhere. This isn't insignificant for some community operators. |
I believe that more detailed statistics should only be available to the administrator, while a simplified version, as I presented, should be accessible to standard users. Unless someone wants to write a book about statistics, haha. |
I really like your graphic proposal.
In my opinion it is sufficient to show how many users are online (including the invisible ones), how many guests there are and to list the visible nicknames.
Attached a possible solution for those who want to keep the stats. In my opinion, taking into account that the forums have lost the strength they had before and now the stats per day are not so high, I would hide them. |
In my opinion, the forum statistics currently display too much unnecessary information. It would be great to simplify it to just the essentials and present the UI/UX in a way that looks clean and aesthetic. At the moment, it looks quite poor. |
Below, I present my proposal for redesigning the statistics and essentially simplifying them. In my opinion, detailed calculations such as '(142.85 Posts per Day)' are highly unnecessary. The same goes for the number of users '(15 invisible)' and the day of the record number of users online '(May 23, 2018)'. Who needs this and why? I believe the statistics should be simplified and presented in a more readable, graphical way. My proposal is shown below.
