We should plan to have a release aligned with every release of druid version ensuring the compatibility and making use of new capabilities or enhancements released in the new version of druid on the existing features of swiv.

Thoughts ?

Are you suggesting that we release with the same version numbers?

No I am saying we should have swiv releases aligned with Druid releases, though the versioning of swiv can be different.

Ah, ok, so have a documentation page that clearly says "This version of swiv works on these versions of Druid?"

I guess I'm just trying to understand what this means concretely. Do you have an example of a project you think has done this well that we could just copy?

@crirus we are running 0.9.42 version of swiv against latest druid stable (0.10.0). Have not seen any issues so far.
