Pricebooks are pretty useless - extending workflows necessary

As everyone knows, pricebooks here have the same functionality as in Vtiger, so out of the box they are useless if user needs to manage hundreds of services. It could be forgotten if developer extend workflows, so users can manage Units price in bulk, avoiding manual pricebooks disaster, and instead copy services adjusting units price with use of some workflow formula. Currently Unit price cannot be fixed in workflows not sorted in lists columns
