Always switching back to Siri

I can call the shortcut, I get the prompt "Always there to help" but then, my next question is answered by Siri most of the time somehow.

I have configured Siri answers to "automatic", I also checked "Always show what you say to Siri". The device is running iOS 16.4.

So far the only answer I managed to get from ChatGPT is "who are you?". If I wait for the prompt "I have completed...", then ask "how many countries in africa" for example, the answer will come from Siri somehow.

I feel I'm missing something very basic, but I can't figure out what it is.
