automatic monthly updates

It would be very neat to have regular automatic updates for dictionaries, e.g. monthly.

A first step would be to have a convenient way to manually update a dictionary.

Of course this depends on issue #17

English Wikipedia January 2012

Not an automatic update, but I've compiled enwiki from January 4th 2012.

I tried making a diff file of these vs the 3/2011 files but it didn't work out. I guess people will have to re-download the whole 10 GB.

I don't think current aard binary format yields itself to any kind of diffing. It would be interesting to try put Wikipedia articles into CouchDB and use replication to deliver content, perhaps with filtering to reduce the data set to Wikipedia categories user is interested in.
