Feature request: support receiving data from the PC over the HID protocol #19

I'd like to be able to receive data from the PC over the HID USB protocol, to the device, in order to update parameters in its EEPROM. I think this is possible but don't know where to begin. If someone can guide me where to start I may even add it myself. Otherwise I'd love to see someone else add it.
