How can I create a different header class for landing page?

Hello all,

First, thanks for all the work done by the creators and contributors to make this theme available.

I am trying to create a larger header on the landing page (home_info.html). I have read the documentation about creating custom templates and storing them in the local _default folder, but I am not sure how to override the baseto.html (as it links to the header.html page) for just one particular page.

I understand that my problem is largely due to my lack of understanding of linking to different html, or html conditional formatting, but if anyone could help out, or point me to some useful links, it would be greatly appreciated.
