Not specifically I’m just talking about things being properly identified and series associated. Which is contrary to my current experience when bulk adding new material. |

The folder names don't have to be followed at all, that is only if you aren't using any of the other 5 methods of pulling metadata from your file system. Even if your folder names are bad and it used those for the titles the match feature is pretty good at figuring out what the book is and fixing the metadata. Using "Match books" for the library or "Quick match" for individual books. |

A quick check that the scanner is set right for metadata priority. Yet making folder level changes is what seems to correct most errors and seems to be the only way to correct series associations. |

May be a silly question, but do you have the series and series-part tags setup (or mvnm and mvin)? |

You don't have to set those tags manually, but if you're wanting series sequence (where the book is in the series) that's the metadata tag that is read for it. You can also get that information from matching against online providers. |

Hey folks, I have a question that hopefully there is a fairly common problem.
As much as I love ABS, the folder, naming requirements are a little pedantic, it can be quite troublesome, if you’re doing some sort add of Audiobooks.
So I’m wondering what people are using to manage folder file naming to meet ABS requirements, other than toiling away by hand, which is what I’m doing now :).
I’ve looked at both lazylibrarian and radar as well as caliber and some other file renamers, I had to find something that’ll work to bulk, update the existing library, as well as clean things as they comes in.
Recommendations?
