Saving edited metadata to book folder

There used to be a button that would save an NFO to the book folder. I wrote a ton of scripts built around that, since Audiobookshelf is a great way to improve my metadata, and then my other scripts can move the info into other programs I need to use (because no server currently works completely).

But now the button's gone (I just upgraded my server), and I don't know how to do anything equivalent.

Oh, for me the shortcoming of "store metadata in book folder," is that I'd like to mark the book as having been manually edited and approved. I'd be perfectly happy if there's some way to do that -- I never really loved having to click that button either :) .
