Sound mixer - Channel stop does not stop the sound

I'm building a sound controller for my game, and I want to stop the background music, but the music will not stop.

What I have:

        // I've tried adding this line to see if does "flush" the sound, with no avail.

Update: I've found that adding a loop with sfx.frame() clears it out. (Looks like with one frame only is not enough)
