Best way to integrate xtasks with the template

Hello, I want to add build tasks using xtask but I'm not sure what the best way would be.

Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I did try simply adding a xtask alias and an xtask subdir with cargo new --bin xtask as per the example on https://github.com/matklad/cargo-xtask/tree/master/examples/hello-world but I get a ton of errors, I would imagine because I'm using clap and it's trying to use the GBA's compile thingies to run the xtask(?)

This will be due to the .cargo/config.toml file forcing the use of the gba build target. You can try removing the [build] and [unstable] sections and pass it in as command line options in your tasks.
