Hi all, a new and revised version of the importer tool is now available on a separate branch: https://github.com/ajnyga/tsvConverter/tree/rewriteToDOM This version uses PHP DOM model to generate the xml output based on a sample xml file generated from the OJS 3.3 native xsd. Major changes and improvements:

Hi all,
as a starting point for future developments I here link our Copenhagen Sprint Notes to start a discussion about next steps.
As discussed in Copenhagen I already updated the main branch of the repo merging the combined modifications provided by the National Library of Sweden and the modifications we made at FU Berlin. The script has been used in a production environment but there still might be open issues for other uses cases.
If you find issues please discuss them here or open a Github issue directly.
Given the requirements we defined:
there is still some way to go.
In particular the point "Process should be simple and not require a technical background." needs some discussion. I will open a seprate thread on this one. The code will also need some refactoring towards usage of a DOM model.
I invite everyone to discuss requirements for specific use cases or feature requests for a new release. The discussion here should aim to prepare the code to be provided to PKP for inclusion into OJS.
Looking forward to all your input!
Best wishes,
Ronald
