Probably not a good idea. This /var path is not xdg base dir spec conformant. maybe snapcraft implements some redirect mechanism. Looks like thunderbird and Firefox snaps work. Please reinstall chromium, to restore the desktop entry in /usr/share. And please post its content. |

But only if you run it from the shell. If you auto start it the env may be different. Depending in what plasma does. |

For the story, Ubuntu is moving apps like Thunderbird as a Snap since Ubuntu 24.04. And this was already the case for Firefox.
Unless I have a bug, Firefox and Thunderbird do not show as application in Albert.
