it doesn't seem to be working on Firefox mobile. I think it was working six months or so ago

Quick clarification, Fennec is the old no longer supported by Mozilla mobile browser? Replaced by Fenix on Android (which as of today, limits what extensions can be installed)?

It still seems to receive updates:

I guess this is actually Fenix but rebranded as Fennec and fixed to allow dev mode.

You can install extensions after enabling dev mode and then using a custom addon collection, for example: 13464922

Cool, thanks @chapmanjacobd I just spent the morning forking/merging a bunch of changes. I've not tested this on Android and so I can't publish for Android yet :-(

clach04#4 is where I have done some work (which is mostly figuring out what other people have done).

Are you in a position to test my fork (main branch)? I hope Mozilla will finish review soon BUT that will only be for Desktop. I have to confess Android support is low on my priority list at the moment so additional help would be awesome!

CC'ing @pepeloni-away as I took their changes for Android (work fine on desktop, so no breakage).

@clach04 I only fixed the popup being too zoomed-in and crashes when trying to access browser.windows that doesn't exist on the android version. Saving your tabs as a file doesn't work, i didn't care to fix that.

Something to note is that browser.tabs will not return inactive tabs like it does on pc. On android you have to manually load each tab if you want it to show up in the extension popup. I don't know if mozilla fixes this in their upcoming extension compatibility update
