- The transitions between levels can now be shuffled around and be coupled or uncoupled together (means going back through a transition will take you where you just came from)
- Tower of Time, Corrupted Future, and Elemental Skylands are all included in this
- Currently, the transitions from

,Cloud Ruins -> Glacial Peak
, andBamboo Creek -> Forlorn Temple
are not shuffled since they're a bit tedious to actually reach, proportionally.

- Starting portals that aren't opened in the prophet cutscene dialog will open after his cutscene and returning the HQ
Fixed:
- An issue preventing tracker auto tab switching to function correctly
- Some of the remainders while teleporting get cleaned up
- Some of the teleport coordinates that caused soft locks
Known Issues:
- Teleporting out of boss rooms still cause issues; this includes the Corrupted Future chase scene. Make sure to quit to title and reload your save file when teleporting out of boss fights
- Some teleports may still cause soft locks. Please immediately grab the log file and report any soft locks when going through any transitions or portals. Saves should be able to be loaded normally but it will likely start you in the wrong position
Misc:
- Because of some of the features this new apworld uses, Archipelago 0.4.4 is no longer sufficient. A build with the necessary requirements is included in zip and exe form. The in game generate button will only function correctly with the installer version.
- Dialog boxes from grabbing items are back to being instant

- Solo Randomizer Menu
- This has all of the various randomizer options available on it where you can then select your preferred options, click the export button to output an options file, and then generate.
- An options file in the
/Archipelago
folder is required in order to generate- This can be done by either placing your own custom archipelago options file in the folder or by using the export options button in game
- Exporting options will scan the folder and delete all files with a json file ending, but nothing else
- The generate button will only work if there is only a single file in the
/Archipelago
folder - Seeds generated this way will be completely offline, requiring no internet connection, nor using the local archipelago server, but this does require the latest apworld place in an archipelago installation
- Support for Archipelago webhooks
- hopefully soon upcoming archipelago feature that will allow you to open the game by just clicking on your name in the room page. This will also automatically connect you to the room at the same time, so you simply click your name in the room and then load up a new save file!

Known Issues:
- Occasionally entering a portal will soft lock while attempting to take you to the correct area. Closing the game and reloading the save should work, but please save the log as the issue is most likely caused by incorrect coordinates.
- The issue where loading an existing save file will sometimes not successfully replace dialog is back 😡
Messenger Randomizer AP v0.13.0-Alpha
New:
- Randomizer options are in their own separate menu instead of being nested in the mod menu
- Reset Randomizer Slots option is now gone!
- In order to start a new randomizer save you now only need to connect through the randomizer menu and load into a new save. Saves will still store your rando data as before, and the rando data will be cleared when you delete a save in game.
- The number of available portals and the area where the portals take you to can now be randomized
Since this is an alpha release, I've uploaded the apworld here. To use this you will need to download the Archipelago software. Once that is installed, place the apworld in Archipelago/lib/worlds/ and overwrite the existing messenger.apworld there. Making a backup of the old apworld is recommended, but not necessary as everything here is backwards compatible. To generate with the new options, you will have to generate locally, which is outlined here. A template yaml containing the new options is also attached here, but a new one can also be generated by clicking Generate Template Settings
in the Archipelago Launcher.
New generation-side features:

The Messenger
button in the Archipelago launcher that can be used to launch the game. It will also check if the randomizer is installed/updated, and update it if necessary. It will also install Courier. This should also work on Linux and Steam Deck, though those have not been tested yet. - Options for randomizing the starting portals and where they lead to
- Option for early meditation
- Option for limited movement, which removes either rope dart or wingsuit from the itempool
- Definitely recommend against this one until logic is finished, since the likelihood of an uncompletable seed is a lot higher
- The option to shuffle seals has been removed, with the seal locations always being randomized now

Fixes:
- Fixes an issue where duplicate items would be received if continuing a slot by connecting from the main menu
- An issue where opening the options menu from the main menu would wipe all rando save data
- An issue where returning to title screen from a save and attempting to fill in connection info would all be empty instead of filled with the defaults

Fixes:
- Prevents music rando from happening in sunken shrine which caused soft locks
- Prevents some cases where deaths would cause soft locks
- Attempts to address the issue with items being received incorrectly
- Already killed bosses should now be dead on new saves, and they should already be dead if another player collects their item
- The two monk cutscenes and the two astral seed cutscenes now sync through the archipelago server so will already be completed if you need to restart the save for any reason. Will not work when co-oping as the syncing is only done once per connection. If this becomes a requested feature it's doable though.
