Adding a new page in the CMS doesn't seem to create an entry in the lh nav on https://vigorous-boyd-c9e9ce.netlify.app/docs/prologue/introduction/, so how is this updated? Can it be done from within the CMS?
Possibly related: I managed to change some text on homepage last night but didn't really get to the bottom of how this entire page is built.

Not clear how to do this in content manager. Add section to config.yml?

Editing menus will be easier via a text editor directly than the cms. There are three quick resources to reference for doing that:
I believe there might be a way to edit the menus file in netlifycms, but you'd need to add the config/_default/menus.toml file to the netlifycms configuration via these instructions: https://www.netlifycms.org/docs/collection-types/#file-collections
