GTM Preview mode is on but not recognized in solution #42

I have GTM set for preview mode and see tag assistant firing. However when trying to access the tags or variables I receive an alert that preview mode must be enabled. I would assume this notice relates to GTM Preview? Unfortunately there is not a tool tip per se as to what the application is looking for.
