I can confirm I am getting this error too.

the minify: BUILD option is invalid according to https://github.com/kangax/html-minifier#options-quick-reference

    config.plugins.push(
      new HtmlWebpackPlugin({
        template: './src/index.html',
        inject: 'body',
        minify: BUILD
      })
    );

You can replace it, for example by:

    config.plugins.push(
            new HtmlWebpackPlugin({
                template: './src/index.html',
                inject: 'body',
                minify: {
                    removeAttributeQuotes: true
                }
            })
    );
