The following changes can be expected for the next release.

New Features

• Support for the <action> and <dependency> resource types
• Support for partial retrieve
• New text UI for the console interface
• Request recording to show the oneM2M communication flow, and to help with debugging
• Starting support draft and experimental oneM2M Release 5 features

Improvements

• Big overall speed improvements for database operations ( > 10-100+ times for big resource trees).
  Unfortunately this means an incompatible change in the DB schemas
• Improved resource validation (complex and enumeration types)

Experimental

• Added experimental subi attribute support to <CNT> only. Other resource types may follow. May become a permanent improvement (depends on discussions in oneM2M).
• Added experimental eventEvaluationMode support to <CRS> resource type. May become a permanent improvement (depends on discussions in oneM2M).
• Added first experimental support for advanced resource queries via the aq request parameter. This is probably subject to change.

Breaking Changes

• The internal script interpreter is switched to a lisp-like language. Existing scripts need to be converted.
• The DB schemas are updated due to the necessary changes for the speed improvements.
  A converter tool may be provided to migrate < 0.12.0 files to the new schema (please let us know in the comments).
• Renamed some configuration settings and section titles (see table below).
