Kogito Images Version 1.10.0

We are glad to announce that the Kogito 1.10.0 release is now available! This goes hand in hand with Kogito Tooling 0.11.0, Kogito Images, Operator, and CLI 1.10.0 release.

From a feature point of view, we included a series of new features and bug fixes, including:

• Introducing the new Spring Boot Starters. Now you can fine tune your Kogito Spring Boot project with the specific starter
• KOGITO-4470 - ConfigMap required ownerReference as controller
• KOGITO-5573 - Kogito Operator Data-Index Unable to connect to Infinispan Instance
• KOGITO-5538 - It is now possible to disable the generation of REST endpoints via properties. For example kogito.generate.rest=false disables the generation of all the endpoints while kogito.generate.rest.decisions=false disables the generation of the DMN endpoints (same apply to processes, rules and predictions)

Breaking Changes

• The usage of kogito.persistence.postgresql.connection.uri has been discontinued in this release when using the Postgresql addon for Quarkus. The same configuration can now be achieved by using the Quarkus reactive data source.

We are glad to announce that the Kogito 1.8.0 release is now available! This goes hand in hand with Kogito Tooling 0.11.0 and Kogito Images, Operator, and CLI 1.8.0 release.

From a feature point of view, we included a series of new features and bug fixes, including:

• Infinispan required version has been upgrade to 12.1.4, including Data Index and Jobs services
• New runtime persistence addon using generic JDBC Driver.
• Jobs Service support for persistence using MongoDB
• Data Index Service support for persistence using PostgreSQL
• We now have a dedicated extension for Kogito Processes (kogito-quarkus-processes) on Quarkus Runtimes in addition to the platform extension (kogito-quarkus)
• It is now possible to use application.properties to provide Drools knowledge builder properties
• Monitoring dashboards now report the version of Kogito runtime so that it is possible to filter by version
• Support for Boundary Error Events

Kogito Images Version 1.3.0

• Updated PatternFly to version 2020.16 on both Management Console and Task Console
• New Kafka persistence addon for Quarkus based runtimes

Known Issues:

• KOGITO-4512 - Quarkus developer mode may fail to reload DRL or DMN assets in some cases. You can try setting the quarkus.dev.instrumentation configuration option to false. A proper fix is being released on 1.4.0.
