Expected behavior

When working on an super ultra wide screen (32:9), the layout should still be workable, meaning:

  • The startup window isn't too wide
  • When resizing the window, it should reset the widths of the fields.

Actual behavior

When starting jmeter gui on a super ultra wide monitor with 32:9 aspect ratio, it starts too wide to actually work with it. But when resizing the window, it doesn't resize the widths for input fields, descriptions, tables etc.. For example, the user defined variables on the testplan level, the name and value field widths don't update, and the 'value' row becomes unreachable.

The only way to make it workable, is to initially start jmeter on a smaller screen, then attach the wide monitor later.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Start JMeter GUI with 32:9 aspect ratio on ultra wide screen. Then make the width smaller. See that all fields usually on the right side, are unreachable.
