Deploy Kyuubi on Kubernetes #1606

Hi Team,

I’m following the kyuubi document to deploy Kyuubi 1.4.0 on Kubernetes, , and I meet some issue I can’t resolve it.

Real appreciate if you could advise what is missing or what I do is wrong.

1. Preparation:
Run spark-submit with Spark-Pi on the target Kubernetes without any issue.

2. Configuration change in kyuubi-configmap.yaml :

kyuubi.authentication           NONE
kyuubi.frontend.bind.port       10009
kyuubi.ha.zookeeper.quorum      zookeepr-svc-name:2181
spark.master                    k8s:/<<api-url>
spark.submit.deployMode         client

3: What works:

kubectl port-forward svc/kyuubi-example-service -n <ns-here> 10009:10009

I try following setting without any luck:

Seems the spark executor can't connect to Kyuubi( spark Driver).

in a very short time, the driver created/deleted more than 400 executors.

@yaooqinn , we can change Kyuubi server to statefulset to resolve the UnknownHostException issue.

but I got a new issue:

java.io.InvalidClassException: scala.collection.mutable.WrappedArray$ofRef; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 1028182004549731694, local class serialVersionUID = 3456489343829468865

I will try spark 3.1.2 instead of 3.2.0 and update here.
