Reported on slack by @tris-ots, reproduced myself like so in a slightly different way:

  • manage.py collectstatic
  • npm run ts:check

Produces typescript errors on files in node_modules

Suggest excluding the staticfiles dir from typescript discovery, which shouldn't be too difficult.
