Contribution guidelines?

Hello there,

I've been assessing the Opta for use at work for a line of machines we build. As part of the work I've also been building a prototype custom expansion.

Digging through the code and documentation for the controller and the expansions I see various areas which could be improved upon.

Are there any guidelines for doing work, or any kind of road map for priority work?
