While I believe this is, in fact, designed I guess I am asking for a feature request to disable the option since it seems that a couple of users have inadvertently changed the option with the hardbuttons. I would like an option to disable that or make that fat-fingering the option change to be more challenging so daily use isn't the culprit. |

Any update here with an option to disable the physical buttons from changing this setoption? Thanks! |

Moving to discussions as an idea, since it is an feature request. |

Thanks for moving. I guess the feature request is an option to allow the physical buttons to allow the dimming level to be toggled. I don't know what switches others are using - but with the Martin Jerry Dimmers it is pretty easy to toggle this option. |

Guys I don't even use the switches that often but we have a set that people use in my basement and half of them have triggered SetOption86 to ON because of the hard buttons. All I am requesting is another setoption to disable the hardbutton capability. Can we squeeze that in please? |

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
There is a hard button sequence which will re-enable the timeout of the brightness LED's. We have found in daily usage that this combination is very easy for end-users to re-enable the timeout inadvertently.
