Workflow running for 18 days with timeout error

I am using Argo Workflows to run cron jobs.

Once in a while, my workflows hang indefinitely as shown below:

When I take a look inside, the workflow has already failed with the following error:

Error (exit code 1): Timeout: request did not complete within requested timeout - context deadline exceeded

I need to rely on Argo Workflow continues running to fail, tray again.

How can I prevent this problem and ensure my Cron workflow won't freeze or hang like this?

If I had to guess, you're probably on an older version of 3.5 which had some bugs. Use the newest patch version, 3.5.11

Newest patch version 3.5.11 also showing same behaviour in which workflow gets completed, but still it shows in running state

3.5.12 is the latest patch right now. I see you filed an issue at #13949; an issue is the proper place to triage and debug if you can reproduce on :latest. Please provide a reproduction as required in the issue template and as asked for by the contributor who responded in #13949 (comment)
