hello , is xuggle dead ?
no updates nearly year.

No android support ?
It would be cool if you can make robovm iOS support also

yes ! with 270 contributors this project is dead !!!!!
or dont have more issue for any new task

Dead is better word. I don't think there is nothing more to do. And 270
contributors it's nice, last commit 8 months ago (just check the history).
And I think the main and the only one real contributor was Art Clarke,
creator and main developer.

I don't want to argue with anybody, Xuggler works, but without any huge
development.

maybe !
i see https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg and this is alive yet and do some changes on repo

but i see at xuggler site , Art Clarke needed 50k $ / year for keep developing xuggler , i think this FOS project can to developed by other because 50k is more ! if him can to find any sponsor maybe can to alive again

or i have wrong because xuggler is complete and worked as fine (for me) !
so i want to say xuggler is in winter sleep

Well, ffmpeg is not Xuggler, Xuggler is a Java library, which allows you to
use ffmpeg directly from Java. And yes, ffmpeg is not dead and it's under
development. Xuggler also works only for ffmpeg 1, not ffmpeg version 2.

Also, I would like to pay for Xuggler some money, but I'm afraid, I don't
have $50,000 ;)

I'm using Xuggler for about 2-3 years now and I like it. I still think it's
the best solution for Java developers, even if the project is de facto
dead. And it works well for what I need :)

One clarification: Robert Harris was the co-creator of Xuggle along with
me. But yes, neither of us is supporting or working on that project
anymore. Glad to hear it's still working for so many people though.

Art and Robert can to raise up at this point and thanks for implements the best media Lib and now other contributors could to continue this way i think if 10% of 270 contributors want to work on this repo , xuggler can to get The Best again (moving on ffmpeg 2 and more feature) , if we can to open more issue maybe contributors want to work on this WTF 270 developers are huge for do any thing!!

@artclarke how about transfer this project to who want take it over and could handle it?

it's in github, people are welcome to clone it.

I cannot 'transfer the project' as Xuggle is owned by ConnectSolutions, the
company that bought the company named Xuggle that made it (turns out the
Xuggle open-source library was put a small part of what we built). But
again, it's open source, so anyone is welcome to clone and I'm confident if
someone actually took that code base and maintained it, they would attract
users.
