Created by BibDesk I have got a BibTeX file that contains eg:

title = {Was ist "gelegentlich"? Die unscheinbare Privilegierung in {\S} 1 Abs. 3 Nr. 2a A{\"U}G}, year = {2017},

Everything is interpreted fine in bibliography::[] apart from the {\S} which should expand to §.

Apart from that, I love it ;-)

It happens in the footnotes too :-(

This may be caused by citeproc. I will look to see if we can mitigate it in asciidoctor-bibtex.
