Would be really nice to have readline bindings in the edit-tags/search-query/... field.

Any chance we can get this?

These already work for me, I think because I have a global GTK key theme (see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GTK#Emacs_key_bindings). Though I'm not sure how this can be configured for Astroid only.
