Random keypoint generation doesn't work if there are any existing modifiers on the object #3

For some reason, if an object has any modifiers that haven't been applied, the particle system modifier is returning (0, 0, 0) for every particle. Need to look into this. For now, the only workaround is to apply every modifier before running keypoint generation.
