In PR#42, Cliff Seal suggested checking for filters as an additional method for determining whether or not to show our Classic WordPress 101 videos for sites that do not have Gutenberg enabled:

In the new version, we only show our Classic WordPress 101 videos when the Classic Editor plugin is also installed and activated. But there are other methods for disabling Gutenberg, and we should support those as well.
