We ran into an issue the other day when a customer had a valid license key but did not have any plugins installed and activated which matched their available content.
They were shown this message which was confusing:
"There was a problem retrieving content from WP101plugin.com.
Please verify your API key and ensure your WP101plugin.com account has access to the desired content."
