Api key not found error

Question

I have changed the graphql schema and trying to push changes.

errror shown is:
Resource is not in the state stackUpdateComplete
Name: GraphQLAPIDefaultApiKey....... (AWS::AppSync::ApiKey), Event Type: update, Reason: API key not found: ....... (Service: AWSAppSync; Status Code: 404; Error Code: NotFoundException; Request ID: a3c84959-6c73-42aa-a290-b119ae17f2b9; Proxy: null), IsCustomResource: false

I updated api and set expiry date as 325
I added "APIKeyExpirationEpoch" as -1 in parameters.json

Both the above two approaches did no work.

What might be the reason for this. How to fix this.
