Thumbnor targetting sub folders - docs say it won't work, but it does

This is just me checking I am not going to get bitten in the future by something.

I am trying out using thumbnor for changing format, but I noticed that the documentation says
"Legacy requests (Thumbor and Custom) are currently limited to: sourcing images from the root level of Amazon S3 buckets and ...."

But in the example link above, my image is in the folder "sub".

Am I misunderstanding the warning, or is this a problem I will hit if I start having deeper folder trees?

@johnbest I tried a test and was able to retrieve images 3 folders down in the bucket. That portion of the document may be out of date and we will correct it in a future release.
