AWS CLI wraps the output in a small area

hello - I am having issues with the bad format of aws cli output ( it also affects eksctl)

If I just type aws

For kubectl get pods

For helm upgrade

Tried to reinstall the aws cli and configure the cmd size window but it wraps the output and overlaps current commands.
kubectl runs fine if I change the context to non-aws related
I am running on windows 10 / visual studio code but the same issue applies to cmd

This can be closed. Issue was caused by soundmixer.exe malware.
