System details (run AWS: About and/or Amazon Q: About)

  • OS: Windows / WSL
  • Visual Studio Code version: 1.96.2
  • AWS Toolkit version: 3.40.0
  • Amazon Q version: 1.41.0

Question

When i try installation Amazon Q vscode plugin on windows / WSL. The plugin gets installed however in the Amazon Q logs the following error is seen

2025-01-03 13:38:02.253 [error] LspController: Failed to setup LSP server Error: Failed to fetch manifest. Error: {"message":"request to https://aws-toolkit-language-servers.amazonaws.com/q-context/manifest.json failed, reason: socket hang up","type":"system","errno":"ECONNRESET","code":"ECONNRESET"}

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling vscode, plugin, disabling firewall to rule out issues but still unable to resolve the issue.

This looks like a network failure.

Are you behind a proxy? #185
