Need to tap twice to make a selection on tablet (Ipad) devices

Hi, seems like users need to double-tap on a value to make a selection when using Ipads. Once a user has double tapped on the object once, they then only need to tap once afterwards, until they tap away from the Field-UI object, then they need to double-tap again. I am not currently able to test this with android devices...
