Sometimes you may want to stream the system level audio from the mac. This is useful for production tutorials and demos. __If you are using a DJ controller or audio interface you should connect that directly to OBS. Find out how to connect an external audio interface to Chew

To stream your system audio through OBS on the mac you need to install Soundflower and restart your mac.

Once restarted open the mac system preferences and select the sound pane. In the Input and Output tab select Soundflower 2ch as your audio interface.

Next open OBS and add a new audio input by clicking the green plus icon below the sources list, name it whatever you like and click OK.

Finally select Soundflower 2ch as your source and click ok.

You should now capture the system audio and be able to broadcast it over OBS.
