Allow controlling sleep mode by lowering brightness under a set threshold

I have brightness control disabled in AL and change it with my own automations. In the evening they go from 100 to 60%. Then when I activate the night scene, they turn off and get controlled by presence detection at a brightness between 10 and 2% then turn back off again after a couple minutes. Instead of completely turning them off, it would be nice to be able to set up AL to switch to sleep mode color (red) at 1% brightness.
