Could not find com.github.licheedev:Android-SerialPort-API:2.0.0 #36

I'm getting the following error when attempting to do a debug build:

Could not determine the dependencies of task ':app:mergeDebugAssets'.

Could not resolve all task dependencies for configuration ':app:debugRuntimeClasspath'.
Could not find com.github.licheedev:Android-SerialPort-API:2.0.0.

Does something need to be added to the build.gradle file for the app or is there some other fix?
