AWS has posted more information about the AWS v2 JS SDK EOL: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/developer/announcing-end-of-support-for-aws-sdk-for-javascript-v2/
A date for Maintenance has been added (8th September 2024) and a date for EOL (8th September 2025).
SQS Producer already supports V3 for it's latest versions but retains version 2.2.0 for the V2 SDK.
Along with these guide dates, we will be removing the note on our readme that points to V2 support from September 8th, 2024.
