Good day

I hope you are well. We have installed the latest version of video time pro on our moodle system. When testing the “Set grade equals to view percentage” setting, we have found that the plugin is not creating or updating the user’s grade. The bug exists on multiple systems and I can confirm that the issue did not exist on the previous version of the plugin.

This matter is one of urgency as it is affecting multiple users on our live system.

Please find below the system and plugin details:

Video Time version 2023101101
Video Time Pro version 2023101100
Moodle version 4.2.5 build 20231222

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create video time activity in course.
  2. Tick “Set grade equals to view percentage”.
  3. Set grade to pass at 100
  4. Under the Activity Completion table click
    a. Student must view this activity to complete it.
    b. Student must receive a grade to complete this activity.
    c. Completion on video finish.
  5. Enrol a student user to the course.
  6. Log in as the user and view the course.
  7. View the video time activity to the end.
  8. Check if the grade was issued.
