So it looks like my setup works fine and I just can't see my meter. I can see everyone else in the area after driving around with my laptop. I found some data on my meter and it looks like it operates in the 450-470mhz so I am trying to play with the centerfreq value, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Operates on FCC licensed 450-470 MHz frequencies, reducing the risk of interference by other radio systems Any advice out there? |

I know this is a broad question, but I seem to have my hardware working fine. I can pick up FM radio and track flights with dump1090, but when I attempt to listen for my electrical meter (Aclara Gen 5 CL 320. Recently installed for Solar net metering), I don't see anything. Of course, it may not be sending anything, but I would expect to pick up some other meters near me. The fact that I see nothing while running, makes me think that I have a config off or I'm not scanning a wide enough frequency selection.
Can anyone give advice on how to scan for any meter, anywhere? I've run rtlamr -msgtype=all and still see nothing.
