B2 is capable of generating any kind of file. But since you are asking specifically about Boost you would have to ask in the Boost email lists to request that. |

boost.props.txt
I use the above file to config visual studio project to use boost. Can Boost.Build automatically generate it in future releases?
I had to add an extra ".txt" extension to be able to upload it. The file uses XML syntax, and - in its current form - only lines 5-7 need to be updated upon make. Here is MS doc link on how to use a prop sheet in vs C++ sln/prj:
