Bitbucket is another, free and popular, git repo hosting service. Add an entry point to store and fetch barbarian packages to/from it. One key aspect to determine is how to map user/channel to the repo.

Bitbucket uses URLs of the form for raw access: https://bitbucket.org/<user>/<repo>/raw/<branch>/<path>
