Click upgrade

We are attempting to upgrade from Bitnami SuiteCRM 7.12.6 on AWS EC2 to Bitnami SuiteCRM 7.13.3. However, we are encountering PHP incompatibility issues when we try to upgrade using the SuiteCRM upgrade Wizard. SuiteCRM 7.13.3 requires PHP 7.4, whereas SuiteCRM 7.12 is currently using PHP 7.3. We also tried upgrading PHP separately, but it caused SuiteCRM to crash!

Upgrading PHP in a running instance is not possible as it will require to recompile all components from source. In order to upgrade PHP and SuiteCRM, you will need to launch a new version of the SuiteCRM solution that comes with the new version of PHP and migrate the data to that new instance. You can take a look at the app's documentation or forums to know more about that migration process (probably you need to migrate the database and some files inside the app's files) and any extra step you need to perform to finish the migration successfully.
