Remove notes for authors no longer in the WoT #23

If someone slips through the net and at a later date is removed from either the relay owners contact list or a followers contact list, it would be good if any stored notes are removed automatically.

Is it good to delete the earlier stuff? In the spirit of Nostr's 'no-delete' should notes persist if they met the criteria at the time? Maybe that could be an option though for some relay operators. Just wondered those questions when I read your issue.

If they're no longer in the web of trust due to abuse or other reasons, I'd expect as a relay operation have the option to no longer see those notes without the use of mute etc.

Appreciate not everyone would want that feature so via config would be perfect.

I intend to have a whole section to configure how you prune, including people no longer in the wot, old notes, old reactions etc

but by default there will be no prune

Happy with this as a solution, as long as there's an easy way to remove abuse in the event of a rogue user coming part of the WoT.
