Converting Cyclops Blocks to Meshinstance3D is great, but it would be even better for all the mostly uneditable Godot 3D meshes I get from 3D maps via gtfl, qodot, etc. to transform them in into (then editable) CyclopsBlocks.
Unreal 5 has something somewhat similar with Transforming Dynamic Meshes into Static Meshes (and vice versa at any time)
