in general, the recommendation is to use go2rtc to transcode to h264 so the single stream can be used for recordings and live view |

Describe the problem you are having
Im trying to pull what is an image url (it changes much like a snapshot url) into frigate to do some processing of it, but I'm struggling a bit (i've tried numerous versions even the latest dev-13d121f image).
eventually found "preset-http-jpeg-generic", but I cant seem to get this to work in any version, the config looks like:
Originally the issue I was getting was "user_agent not found" with the "stable" version (ghcr.io/blakeblackshear/frigate:stable), which is fixed in the code tree already
So I applied the same fix (removed _user_agent_args from the preset in the code)
which means it now producing this command line (note the -r now has {} rather than a frame rate, prior to apply the same fix, this was actually being filled out):
later in the code it tries to fill out the frame rate, but I chose to ignore that and instead just hard coded the preset:
and that produced this as a command line:
Which actually sort of works, but eventually dies:
And strangely, frigate was getting images, but was causing issues on another unrelated camera...
